Careers

Build the developer network you wish existed.

A small, remote-first team building the place engineers actually trust to learn, connect, and grow careers. Equity-aligned, async-by-default, obsessive about quality.

Working remotely wherever we’re happiest

🇮🇱 🇬🇧 🇭🇷 🇦🇺 🇦🇪 🇵🇹 🇿🇦 🇺🇸

8 countries. 1 product. 0 mandatory all-hands across time zones.

Open roles

We are not hiring at this exact moment.

We are a small team and we open roles a few times a year. When nothing is open we would rather say so plainly than leave a posting up to collect applications we cannot act on.

First to know

Let daily.dev tell you the moment we open one.

We post our roles inside the product before anywhere else. Turn on job preferences and you will hear about ours the day it opens, alongside every other role that actually fits you.

Set your job preferences

Ahead of the posting

Send us your work anyway.

We have hired people who wrote to us before a role existed. Tell us what you build and what you want to work on next. A human reads every one of these, and we keep it on hand for when something opens.

How we work

Four principles we hire for, fire for, and refuse to compromise on.

Ownership

We ship for engineers because we are engineers.

Every product decision passes the "would I want this in my new tab?" test. The people writing the code own the outcome.

Async

Async by default. Output over hours.

A 10am stand-up does not need to break four time zones. We document, we decide in writing, and we trust people to do their best work.

Craft

Build with taste. Ship with rigor.

A polished UI is not a luxury. It is how we earn the trust to keep showing up in your new tab. Fast, but never sloppy.

Open

Open source is a value, not a marketing line.

Most of the codebase is on GitHub. We answer issues, accept PRs, and credit contributors who ship work into production.

What you get

Compensation that respects your time and your tools.

Pay

Equity that means something.

Generous equity for every full-time hire. We are aligned on outcomes, not optics.

Where

Remote-first, forever.

No mandatory office. Optional team retreats twice a year somewhere lovely.

Health

Coverage that travels.

International private health insurance that does not stop at borders.

Growth

Learning budget.

Books, courses, conferences. Whatever moves you forward gets covered.

Setup

New laptop on day one.

Plus monitor, chair, and whatever else makes your home office feel like a real office.

Time

Flexible schedule, async culture.

Work the hours that match your time zone and your focus. Output-based, not hours-based.

Faces, not avatars

Meet a few of us, in the wild.

Snapshots from recent offsites. Real people, real coffee, real whiteboards.

Hiring questions

Common questions before you apply.

Pay, location, equity, and what to expect from the interview process.

Try the product first. Then decide if you want to build it.

Most of our hires used daily.dev before they applied. Spend a week with the feed and you’ll get a feel for what we obsess over.
