Pine64 has launched the PineVoice (formerly PineVox), a $49.99 smart speaker built around the Bouffalo Lab BL606P RISC-V wireless MCU. It features dual-core RISC-V processors (64-bit T-Head C906 at 480 MHz and 32-bit E907 at 320 MHz), WiFi 4, Bluetooth 5.x, Zigbee, two digital microphones, a speaker, and four RGB LEDs. Designed primarily for Home Assistant integration via the Wyoming Satellite protocol (though ESPHome is now preferred upstream), the device is still in early-stage development with known limitations in wake word detection. Pine64 recommends treating it as a developer kit rather than a consumer product. It ships with a USB-A to USB-C cable and a 30-day warranty.
