A hands-on review of the LUNYEE 3020 Nova desktop CNC router, a 710W spindle machine with dual HG15 linear guides, 1204 ball screws, and NEMA 17 steppers, covering unboxing, assembly, and setup. Testing was done with UGS (GRBL G-code sender) and Easel (design software) across wood, plywood, acrylic, and teak, including a complex multi-hour Thai text engraving job that surfaced font-rendering quirks in Easel. The reviewer found assembly much faster than the earlier 3018 Pro Ultra, praised the working emergency stop and dust shoe, but noted unreliable USB connection handshakes when starting jobs in Easel. Priced at $569–599 depending on retailer.
