Over the coming weeks, you'll start seeing more ads around here, mostly in the feed and post pages. We know that ads are not the most loved thing on the internet, but [daily.dev](http://daily.dev) is a business, and ads are what pay for the team, the infrastructure, and the time it takes to keep improving the product. We want this platform to stay free for everyone, and right now, showing more ads is how we make that work. We don't take this lightly. We think carefully about every ad placement before it goes live, because we know how easily ads can make a product worse. We'll also keep a close eye on how this affects your experience, and iterate until we get it right. If you'd rather not see ads at all, the Plus subscriptions removes them entirely, and it directly supports the work we do.
