It covers tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, Windsurf, and LLMs like Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, and Gemini. Five spotlight crowns highlight category leaders including Developer's Choice, Most Loved, Fastest Rising, Most Discussed, and Most Controversial. Rankings refresh every 60 seconds and include sentiment scores, 24h mention volume, momentum indicators, and 7-day sparklines. A live highlights feed surfaces notable developer posts with sentiment context. ## Content Cursor or Claude Code? Copilot or Windsurf? DeepSeek or Gemini? Every dev has an opinion. Now there's a scoreboard. **The Arena** is a real-time leaderboard that tracks which AI coding agents and LLMs are winning developer mindshare right now. Not based on benchmarks or marketing. Based on what developers are actually saying. ## How it works We built a new metric called the **D-Index**. It combines how much developers are talking about a tool with how positively they're talking about it. High volume + high sentiment = high D-Index. When a tool ships something huge or goes viral, the number explodes. That's the point. The page has two tabs: **Coding Agents** (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, and more) and **LLMs** (Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, Gemini, Llama, and others). Data refreshes every 60 seconds. ## The Crowns Five spotlight titles are awarded to the current category leaders: - **Developer's Choice** - highest D-Index overall - **Most Loved** - highest sentiment score (how positively devs talk about it) - **Fastest Rising** - biggest momentum gain vs. the previous 24 hours - **Most Discussed** - highest raw mention volume - **Most Controversial** - high volume with evenly split sentiment Crowns can change at any moment. ## Full rankings with live data Below the crowns, every tracked tool is ranked by D-Index with: - **Sentiment score** (0-100) with a colored fill bar - **24h mention volume** - **Momentum** showing whether a tool is trending up or down - **7-day sparkline** with a pulsing endpoint so you can see the trajectory at a glance Tools without enough data yet appear in an "Emerging" section at the bottom. As they gain traction, they graduate into the main rankings. ## Live Highlights feed A real-time stream of the most notable developer posts about these tools.
