# A microbenchmark suite for Node.js, Deno and Bun.

## Summary

A microbenchmark comparison of Node.js 25.6.1, Deno 2.6.9, and Bun 1.3.9 across 14 tests including HTTP throughput, JSON parsing/serialization, SHA-256 hashing, buffer operations, array transformations, and async scheduling. Run on Apple M4 hardware with 15 iterations per test reporting p50 medians. Bun led in 8 of 14 tests, excelling at HTTP throughput and large JSON parsing. Deno led in 5 tests, particularly async scheduling and arithmetic loops. Node led in 1 test (SHA-256 hashing of small buffers) but remained competitive overall.
