The trillion-parameter model offers a one-million-token context window and free access, matching reported specs for DeepSeek V4. During tests, the chatbot described itself as a Chinese AI model with a May 2025 knowledge cutoff — the same as DeepSeek's own chatbot — but refused to identify its creator. Some developers see strong signals linking it to DeepSeek, including its chain-of-thought reasoning style, while others remain skeptical citing architectural differences. The model processed over 160 billion tokens shortly after launch, with much activity coming from AI agent frameworks.
