The new parameters work consistently across both REST and MCP interfaces, with inclusive date ranges. The insider trading feed also gained an is_10b5_1 filter to separate pre-planned sales from discretionary trades, full reporting owner names on joint Form 4 filings, and a new per-ticker Form 4 history endpoint covering twelve months of events. A free API key offers 100 calls per day without requiring a card. ## Content We run a financial news API, and this month's changes came from reading our own request logs instead of a roadmap. One consumer tried 15 parameter spellings in 70 seconds, limit, offset, q, symbols, tickers, after_id, and got a 400 on 35 of 41 calls. The same person later used a date window happily on our MCP server, then sent that window to REST in four spellings, and all four bounced, because REST didn't have the parameter yet. So that's what shipped. from_date and to_date on the news and insider feeds, with the same names and the same reading on REST and MCP. Both ends are inclusive, and a bare to_date=2026-07-01 covers that whole day instead of returning an empty page. Spellings we don't use, like published_after or since, now get a 400 that names the real parameter. The insider feed took is_10b5_1=false, which drops sales running on plans set up months earlier and leaves the discretionary trades. Joint Form 4 filings name every reporting owner now, and about one in five of the largest filings is joint, so the names most worth watching were exactly the ones the feed used to drop. There's also a per-ticker Form 4 history endpoint that returns twelve months of chart events in one call.
