AWS DevOps Agent now integrates natively with PagerDuty via OAuth 2.0, enabling automated incident investigations to begin the moment a PagerDuty alert fires. When an incident triggers, the agent correlates CloudWatch metrics, CloudTrail logs, deployment history from GitHub/GitLab, and third-party telemetry (Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk) to produce root cause analysis and mitigation plans — posting findings directly back to the PagerDuty incident record. An optional PagerDuty MCP Server integration lets the agent also query historical incident data and resolution patterns. Setup involves registering PagerDuty as a Capability Provider at the AWS account level, attaching it to an Agent Space, and optionally configuring the MCP server and a custom skill for richer context during investigations.
