IBM Bob, an agentic software development tool, can now directly access IBM watsonx Orchestrate environments through a dedicated open-source skill. The integration uses a setup-venv.sh script that automatically configures the Orchestrate ADK CLI, handling different Python versions, ADK releases, and operating systems. This allows developers to create, test, and run agents inside live Orchestrate environments (IBM Cloud SaaS, AWS SaaS, on-premises, or local Developer Edition) without manual workflows, enabling real-time error capture and agent performance monitoring.
