A maker project demonstrating how to add wireless IoT capabilities to cheap solar-powered landscape lights. By embedding an NRF24L01+ radio and STM32 microcontroller inside the light's housing, the lights gain on-demand remote control alongside their existing motion-activation. A small library was created to integrate these modules with Home Assistant or other home automation systems. The project highlights the broader potential of solar-powered devices as platforms for adding hidden, self-powered IoT nodes.
