The malicious code polls the clipboard every 3 seconds and replaces Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TRX wallet addresses with attacker-controlled ones. Even if a user notices and recopies the correct address, it gets replaced again. The attack also beacons victim IP addresses and referrer URLs to an attacker-controlled server at 84.32.102.230:7744. All malicious files and domains were flagged as clean by security vendors on VirusTotal. The compromise appears to have gone undetected by the security industry for at least a week.
