After losing every protected game it had, Denuvo now can't even survive launch day

Denuvo's DRM reputation has taken another major hit after Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was fully cracked on its release day, May 22nd. This marks the first true day-one crack since Hitman 2 in 2018 — not a hypervisor workaround or a leaked unprotected build, but a genuine crack. This follows last month's news that every previously Denuvo-protected PC game had been cracked or bypassed, raising serious questions about whether the costly and unpopular DRM software offers any meaningful protection to game developers.
