SambaNova Systems has raised $1 billion at an $11 billion valuation in a Series F first close led by General Atlantic, just five months after its $350 million Series E. The Palo Alto-based AI chip startup, founded in 2017, has deepened its partnership with Intel for Xeon-based AI inference co-development. JPMorganChase has selected SambaNova as its inference-infrastructure partner, deploying SN40L and SN50 systems for on-premises AI inference. The company's next-gen SN50 chip is set to begin shipping in H2 2026, with SoftBank as the first deployment partner. SambaNova targets sovereign clouds, neoclouds, and enterprises, positioning itself as a premium inference provider capable of running trillion-parameter models on a single rack. Proceeds will be used to scale operations and secure the supply chain.
