The funniest thing about the current AI hype is that sometimes it feels like we’re all playing the same game:
Developer: “We added an AI feature.”
Marketing: “Great. Put AI everywhere on the landing page.”
Users: “Oh, it has AI? Take my money.”
And suddenly, a perfectly normal SaaS product becomes an AI-powered revolutionary platform™. 😂
But here’s the interesting part: is it actually working?
We’re reaching a point where “AI-powered” can get attention, improve your chances of making the shortlist, and even influence buying decisions.
But once the hype wears off, users still have the same question:
“Does this actually make my life easier?”
AI can absolutely be a killer feature. But adding a chatbot to a settings page and calling it “AI-powered” isn’t a product strategy.
Maybe the next phase of AI isn’t about who can add AI the fastest.
Maybe it’s about building products where users don’t even need to ask:
“Where is the AI?”
Because the product simply works.
The best AI experience might eventually be:
“I don’t care whether it uses AI. This platform just handles everything for me.” 💡

With or without AI , if platform solves user needs product will bring good revenue

If a user doesn’t even realize AI is running under the hood because the product just seamlessly handles the problem and that’s a successful product but if they have to fight a chatbot then that’s just marketing debt

Lot’s of AI stuff that are annoying as hell, like AI assisted recruitment, or AI customer support systems that never actually helps you.

Exactly. I think the best AI features are the ones you barely notice — they just make the product work better.

AI just a tool. If u have good SaaS - AI integration can make it better. If your SaaS old as … - you will have same … but with AI.
