Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, speaking at VivaTech in Paris, predicted that AI will cause labour shortages rather than mass unemployment, arguing that people have endless things to do and AI will remove barriers holding them back. He also discussed Blue Origin's space ambitions, including moving polluting industries off Earth and restoring the planet to a pre-Industrial state, while Blue Origin CEO David Limp confirmed reconstruction of the New Glenn launch pad has begun after a May explosion.
