The upgraded assistant uses multiple AI models to handle natural language conversations, smart home tasks, and complex actions through integrations with services like Uber, OpenTable, and Ticketmaster. After a year-long beta with tens of millions of users, Amazon reports 2-3x more conversations, 25% increase in music streams, and 5x growth in recipe engagement, with only low single-digit opt-out rates. Non-Prime customers can access full features for $19.99/month. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
