AWS has made the all-MiniLM-L12-v2 sentence embedding model available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart. The model from Sentence Transformers encodes sentences and paragraphs into 384-dimensional dense vectors, enabling semantic search, text clustering, duplicate detection, and sentence similarity tasks. Its compact architecture supports fast inference at scale, and deployment is available via SageMaker Studio or the SageMaker Python SDK.
