# Amazon ECR adds pull through cache support for GitLab.com

## Summary

Amazon ECR now supports GitLab Container Registry as an upstream registry for its pull through cache feature. This allows GitLab.com customers to automatically sync images to their private ECR repositories. Authentication is required and customers can use repository creation templates to configure new repositories created via pull through cache.
