A key fix addresses missing peer metadata (source/destination labels showing as 'unknown') in cross-network deployments by enriching the HBONE protocol with baggage headers, enabling ztunnel and waypoint proxies to exchange peer metadata transparently through east-west gateways. This feature is opt-in via the `AMBIENT_ENABLE_BAGGAGE` flag. Additional improvements allow ingress gateways and waypoint proxies to route requests directly to remote clusters.
