A new Linux kernel patch expands the range of AMD Zen 6 CPU models recognized by the kernel. Previously, Family 26 models 192–207 were detected as Zen 6; the patch extends that block to include models up to 239, reserving an additional 32 model IDs. These extra slots accommodate potential future SKUs, semi-custom parts, and AMD's broad Ryzen and EPYC portfolio. Zen 6 enablement work continues to progress across the Linux kernel, GCC, LLVM, and other open-source components.
