The Linux 7.2 drm-misc-next pull request introduces new power management features for both AMD and Intel NPU drivers. The AMDXDNA driver gains 'low' and 'medium' power modes with clock gating and configurable dynamic power management levels. The Intel NPU driver adds sysfs-configurable frequency limits for power and thermal management, including min/max frequency settings and optimal energy-efficiency frequency reads. Additional changes include new display panel support and suspend/resume handling for sysfb DRM drivers. There is also a maintainer change in the Intel IVPU driver.
