Temporal's Helm Charts have reached the 1.0.0 milestone after six years of community collaboration, with over 400 pull requests from nearly 150 contributors. The release introduces a stable API with no planned breaking changes going forward. Key breaking changes include removal of bundled database sub-charts (Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optional component sub-charts (Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana), requiring users to provide these externally. The values.yaml structure has also changed, with persistence config moved to server.config.persistence.datastores. New capabilities include configurable readiness probes, custom deployment strategies, minReadySeconds support, configurable log levels, AWS IAM auth for Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and read-only filesystem support.
