AWS Transform – continuous modernization is now generally available. It connects to source control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) to automatically scan repositories, identify technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and modernization opportunities, then generates validated pull requests to resolve findings. Analysis types include rapid and comprehensive tech debt scans, security analysis via AWS Security Agent, agentic readiness, modernization readiness, and custom analyses. New additions include a web app for scheduling recurring analyses, a CLI with remote sub-commands using EC2 and AWS Batch, and IDE integration via a Kiro plugin. Partner case studies report 60–80% reductions in assessment time, with hundreds of repositories analyzed in days instead of weeks.
