## Summary

AWS has launched M9g instances in preview, powered by the new Graviton5 processors. These general-purpose compute instances deliver up to 25% better performance than the previous Graviton4-based M8g generation, with specific improvements of 30% for databases, 35% for web applications, and 35% for machine learning workloads. Built on the AWS Nitro System, M9g instances offer enhanced networking and storage bandwidth, making them suitable for application servers, microservices, gaming servers, and caching fleets.
