Apollo Federation has announced official support for .NET with a new library for Hot Chocolate. This library adds Federation support to Hot Chocolate's GraphQL server and includes features such as field migrations and flexible type ownership. The .NET community has been creating subgraphs using GraphQL .NET and Hot Chocolate, and this official support aims to better support their needs. Upgrading existing Hot Chocolate subgraphs to Federation 2 is also possible. Apollo plans to continue maintaining and improving the official Federation support for Hot Chocolate.
