AWS has expanded availability of Amazon EC2 G6e instances on SageMaker Studio notebooks to six new regions: Middle East (Dubai), Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Seoul), and Europe (Frankfurt, Stockholm, Spain). G6e instances feature up to 8 NVIDIA L40S Tensor Core GPUs with 48 GB memory per GPU and AMD EPYC processors, delivering up to 2.5x better performance than G5 instances. These instances support interactive model training, generative AI fine-tuning, LLM deployment up to 13B parameters, and diffusion models for image, video, and audio generation.
