Anthropic has launched Claude Tag, a Slack channel-based AI experience for Enterprise and Team customers that replaces the older Claude in Slack integration. Unlike its predecessor, Claude Tag retains context across conversations, can complete tasks autonomously and schedule follow-up work over hours or days, and features an ambient mode that proactively surfaces relevant information from connected tools and channels. Anthropic is offering $25,000 in launch credits to eligible Enterprise customers and $2,500 to qualifying Team customers, with Claude Tag replacing Claude in Slack on August 3, 2026.
