Anthropic has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to accelerate enterprise adoption of its AI models. TCS will create a dedicated business unit for deploying Anthropic's models, gain early access to new releases, and roll out Claude to over 50,000 employees. The partnership targets sectors including financial services, healthcare, telecom, and aviation. TCS's UK life and pensions unit Diligenta and its digital learning platform TCS iON are also involved. TCS will contribute tools to Anthropic's Claude Code ecosystem. The deal is part of a broader trend of frontier AI companies securing enterprise distribution through Indian IT services firms, with Anthropic also partnering with Infosys and OpenAI teaming up with Infosys and HCLTech. The news comes as TCS and Infosys shares have fallen significantly amid concerns about AI's impact on the IT services industry.
