The Apache Flink Community is pleased to announce the fifth bug fix release of the Flink 1.20 series.
This release includes 4 bug fixes, vulnerability fixes, and minor improvements for Flink 1.20. Below you will find a list of all bug fixes and improvements (excluding improvements to the build infrastructure and build stability). For a complete list of all changes see: JIRA.

Apache Flink 1.20.5 is the fifth bug fix release in the 1.20 series. It includes 4 bug fixes and minor improvements: a pemja upgrade to 0.5.7, a fix for incorrect query plans generated by SubQueryDecorrelator for correlated EXISTS with HAVING on aggregate outputs, a RocksDB ColumnFamilyOptions and LRUCache memory leak fix in the Compactor, and updated documentation for Java Records. All users are strongly recommended to upgrade.
