Starting February 24, 2026, Apple will block users in Australia, Brazil, and Singapore from downloading 18+ apps unless confirmed as adults. The updated Declared Age Range API (now in beta) lets developers obtain a user's age category on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. For Utah (May 6, 2026) and Louisiana (July 1, 2026), new tools include the Significant Change API under PermissionKit, a new age rating property in StoreKit, and App Store Server Notifications.
