Here's Everything New! **[YouTube](https://daily.dev/sources/youtube)** · 9 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments ## Summary iOS and iPadOS 27 developer beta 3 has been released, weighing around 15GB. The update is light on new features, focusing mainly on bug fixes and backend improvements. The most notable change is a full Siri reindex, which temporarily reverts Siri to its older interface during the process and may cause UI quirks. Visual tweaks include reduced border darkness on liquid glass and tinted icons for better visibility in transparency mode, and slightly updated Reminders app icons. A new Siri expressive voices customization screen is now accessible on iPad, allowing users to adjust voice expressivity, pace, and style. Shortcuts automation gains new writing tools triggers (proofread, rewrite, summarize). Apple Intelligence performance improvements mean apps start faster and use less power. Battery life is expected to take a hit while on the beta program due to background indexing activity. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
