GitHub Copilot is transitioning to usage-based billing with AI credits starting June 1. Admins and individual users can now download April usage reports to understand how their Copilot activity maps to AI credits before the new billing model goes live. The reports help identify top consumers, model usage patterns, and estimate monthly credit ranges. A few data caveats apply: 0x model usage from April 1–24 is excluded, duplicate entries may appear for April 24–30, and some code review entries show 0 AI credits due to a data issue. The report is a directional estimate, not a final bill.
