# Architect's Technology Roadmap: Path to a Software Architect

## Summary

Software architecture can be done on several “levels” of abstractness. The level influences the importance of necessary skills. From my experience, read books and discussions we can boil this down to these ten skills every software architect should have:Decide and decide development technology and platform.Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders.Detail out and refine higher level design into lower level design.
