YouTube is introducing 'Ask YouTube,' an AI-powered conversational search feature that lets users ask complex queries and follow-up questions, compiling results from both Shorts and long-form videos. The feature is currently available to Premium subscribers in the U.S. on desktop. Additionally, YouTube is integrating Gemini Omni, Google's new AI video model, into YouTube Shorts Remix and the YouTube Create app to enhance content creation. YouTube is also expanding its likeness-detection tool to creators 18 and older to help combat deepfakes.
