AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) has been rebranded as AWS Transform MGN, reflecting its role as the replication engine behind AWS Transform, an agentic migration service. Users can choose between direct console control over replication and cutover, or an agentic workflow that automates discovery, wave planning, landing zone setup, network creation, and rehosting or containerization. All existing compliance certifications (FedRAMP High, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO, SOC 1/2/3) are retained, and the service remains available across all commercial and GovCloud regions.
