AWS Config has expanded its resource coverage to include 8 new resource types spanning Amazon API Gateway, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3 Vectors, AWS Network Firewall, Amazon OpenSearch Serverless, and Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion Service (OSIS). If recording is enabled for all resource types, these additions are tracked automatically. The new types are also supported in Config rules and Config aggregators, available across all AWS Regions where the respective resources exist.
