Both were previously in preview and have picked up new capabilities since then. ## AWS DevOps Agent The DevOps Agent is built around incident management. It autonomously triages incidents, correlates telemetry and deployment data, and works through runbooks to resolve issues — the pitch being a reduction in mean time to resolution from hours to minutes. Since preview, it's added the ability to investigate applications running in Azure and on-premises environments, not just AWS. It now integrates with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, PagerDuty, and Grafana, alongside existing connections to observability tools, code repositories, and CI/CD pipelines. There's also support for custom agent skills and custom charts and reports. T-Mobile reported up to 77% reductions in MTTR in early testing. AWS's own figures cite up to 75% lower MTTR across early adopters. On pricing: AWS Support customers receive monthly credits based on their support tier — somewhere between 30% and 100% of the prior month's support spend — which brings the effective cost down considerably for customers already paying for higher support tiers. ## AWS Security Agent The Security Agent focuses on penetration testing. The idea is to compress what typically takes a security team months into days by running continuous, automated pen tests. Customers in early access reported 50% faster testing cycles and 30% lower costs compared to traditional approaches. ## Other launches this week A few other things worth noting from the same week: - **Amazon ECS Managed Daemons** — simplifies running daemon tasks on ECS clusters - **AWS Sustainability Console** now supports Scope 1–3 emissions reporting - **Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Evaluations** reached GA - **CloudWatch OpenTelemetry Container Insights** added support for EKS AWS also updated its Product Lifecycle policy, moving several services into maintenance or sunset status. AWS App Runner, Audit Manager, and CloudTrail Lake are among those affected — worth checking if any of those are in your stack. ## Context The broader backdrop here is that roughly 60% of organizations are now actively using AI in their software delivery pipelines, according to industry surveys.
