AWS HealthOmics now supports Nextflow version 26.04, bringing several new features to bioinformatics workflows on AWS. Key additions include a strict syntax parser (enabled by default) that catches pipeline errors at initialization rather than mid-run, record types for more readable and less error-prone workflow code, JSON-format workflow output summaries for easier downstream integration, and an agent logging mode optimized for AI-assisted debugging. The update is available across all AWS HealthOmics regions.
