AWS Transform now supports containerization as part of its migration workflow. Using agentic AI, it analyzes source code repositories from GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, or .zip files, generates Dockerfiles, builds container images with CVE scanning, and publishes them to Amazon ECR. Applications can then be deployed to Amazon ECS or EKS. The service also produces Terraform IaC and Helm charts, supports monorepos and multi-repo structures, handles private dependencies via AWS CodeArtifact, and can containerize thousands of applications at scale. Migration teams can now assign applications to either a rehost or replatform-to-containers path within the same planning workflow.
