## Questions this post answers

### Can I upgrade directly to Azure DevOps Server 26H2 RC from Team Foundation Server 2015?

Yes, a direct upgrade to Azure DevOps Server RC 26H2 is supported from any version of Team Foundation Server, including TFS 2015 and newer. Direct upgrade from this RC release to the eventual RTW release will also be supported, so testing the RC now does not block the later move to the final release.

### When does extended support for Team Foundation Server 2017 end?

Extended support for Team Foundation Server 2017 ends on January 12, 2027. After that date, TFS 2017 no longer receives technical support, so organizations still on it or earlier versions are advised to upgrade to the latest Azure DevOps Server.

### What new features are in the Azure DevOps Server 26H2 release candidate?
