Azure Monitor Health Models allow teams to define a hierarchical model of their application — from platform resources up through app components, business functions, and the overall service — and aggregate health signals into a single, navigable view. Instead of sifting through thousands of individual metrics and logs (Azure Monitor metrics, Log Analytics, App Insights, Prometheus), health cascades upward so you can instantly see which business functions are impacted when a resource becomes unhealthy. The designer lets you add entities, define relationships via drag-and-drop, configure rollup logic (worst-of or minimum-healthy thresholds for fleets), and set up alerts tied to Azure Action Groups. Models can also be nested, making it practical for complex multi-system applications.
