It has two parts: a server instance that handles auth logic and exposes endpoints via a catch-all route at /api/auth/*, and a client for frontend use. Setup involves installing the package, creating an auth instance connected to Postgres/MySQL/SQLite (with Drizzle/Prisma adapter support), generating database schema via CLI, mounting a handler in your framework, and using the client to sign users up, in, and out. Sessions use secure cookies, and a useSession hook provides reactivity in React/Vue.
