# Beyond Functions: Seamlessly build AI enhanced APIs with OpenAI

## Summary

The WunderGraph OpenAI integration / Agent SDK will simplify the creation of AI enhanced APIs and AI Agents for Systems Integration on Autopilot. This integration enables two things: Build AI enhanced API with OpenAI that return structured data (JSON) Instead of plain text, we can perform complex tasks leveraging existing REST, GraphQL and SOAP APIs.
