The Technology pillar covers data migration via Parquet exports, SQL transpilation with Lakebridge, and three-level validation (completeness, consistency, accuracy). The People pillar addresses breaking analyst/data scientist silos through shared notebooks, Genie for natural language queries, and structured training. Unity Catalog provides governance continuity by mapping BigQuery's project/dataset/table hierarchy and preserving row-level and column-level security during migration.
