The companies span fusion power (proton-boron fuel startup Borealis Fusion, heat-management firm StarWarden), semiconductor efficiency (Bedrock Semiconductor, K1 Semiconductor, Vari Flux), agriculture and critical minerals (crop disease sensing, ocean-floor mineral harvesting robotics), and hydrogen transport via ammonia (AmyHyTech, Ammovolt Energy). Managing partner Eric Toone frames data center power demand as a small preview of a much larger electrification-driven surge in electricity demand, forecast at 3x current levels.
