# Blazor Welcomes Open-Source Contributions from Infragistics

**[DevBlogs](https://daily.dev/sources/devblogs)** · 4 min read · 1 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Infragistics has open-sourced more than 50 of its Blazor UI controls and is now contributing directly to the Blazor framework. The free Ignite UI for Blazor set includes inputs, navigation, and layout controls like Combo Box, Date Picker, Tree, Stepper, and Tile Manager, plus a lightweight Grid Lite for tabular data. Install it via 'dotnet add package IgniteUI.Blazor.Lite'. Infragistics engineers also contributed new .NET 11 analyzers that flag unnecessary StateHasChanged() calls and authentication-state usage that can leave an app with stale user information, merged into ASP.NET Core for .NET 11. A setup scaffolder is under review, and an Ignite UI skill has been contributed for AI coding assistants.

## Questions this post answers

### How do I install the free Infragistics Ignite UI Blazor components?

Install the core open-source controls with 'dotnet add package IgniteUI.Blazor.Lite'. For the lightweight data grid, add a separate package with 'dotnet add package IgniteUI.Blazor.GridLite'. Both are MIT licensed for personal and commercial use, and components require an interactive render mode in Blazor Web Apps.

### What new Blazor analyzers are coming in .NET 11?

Infragistics engineers contributed analyzers merged into ASP.NET Core for .NET 11 that flag unnecessary StateHasChanged() calls and authentication-state usage that can leave an app with stale user information. These catch common Blazor mistakes during development and apply regardless of which UI component library is used.
