Blender 5.2 has entered beta and will be the first Long Term Support (LTS) release in the 5.x series. Key highlights include a new experimental physics system focused on hair and cloth simulations, an overhauled Screen Space Raytracing pipeline, improved Fast Global Illumination with better speed and noise reduction, EEVEE camera ray visibility for lights, up to 2x faster CPU-bottlenecked instancing-heavy scenes in EEVEE, online asset library support with remote browsing and on-demand downloads, and new input color spaces for cameras from Apple, ARRI, Blackmagic Design, Canon, and Sony.
