The reviewer calls it sympathetic without being sympathetic, letting readers judge Moat's actions rather than glorifying or excusing him. One recurring theme is Moat's claim of police victimization, which the reviewer says appears to be a conspiracy of silence around his death. The book also shows Moat not attending offered psychiatric appointments before his crimes. The reviewer calls it excellent and provocative, and picked it up after seeing a social media post about it. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
