Brave Says This is Not a Privacy Feature, But Using Containers Has Its Perks

Brave Browser 1.92 introduces built-in Containers, a feature that isolates cookies and site data per tab. Four default categories (Personal, Work, Social, School) ship out of the box, and users can create custom ones with their own names, colors, and icons. A temporary container option is also available via right-click for quick, unnamed isolation sessions. The feature is rolling out gradually, but users on 1.92 can force-enable it via brave://flags. Brave acknowledges the concept originates from Mozilla's 2015 contextual identity project, which Firefox has offered for years.
